Soil description: 0-5cm dark red brown loam, weak crumb structure, numerous fine plant roots, slightly moist firm consistence, field pH 6.0, EAT 3(1), clear boundary to

5-25cm red brown light clay loam, massive structure, slightly moist firm consistence, field pH 6.0, EAT 3(1), gradual boundary to

25-60cm brownish red light clay loam, weak fine subangular blocky structure, dry tough consistence, field pH 6.5, EAT 5, diffuse boundary to

60-100cm brown clay loam, weak medium subangular blocky structure, dry tough consistence, 5% ferruginous nodules, EAT 5, field pH 6.5.
